Successful candidate will: 

1. Have 2-4+ years' social media experience, advertising agency preferred
2. Have experience developing strategic content for social media campaigns
3. Have experience in creating content for all social media platforms and experiencd with analytics tools
4. Be fluent in Spanish (verbal and written) 


Job Summary:

The Community Manager will manage the brand’s social media accounts, concept and write copy for the content being created, and be passionate about analytics. This position will keep its finger on the pulse of the audience, understand what they are engaging with, and provide recommendations to help improve content moving forward.


This position will develop and manage the day-to-day content on the Hispanic market social media initiatives and develop strategic content calendars, analytics reports, and social media campaigns. The Community Manager will work in partnership with the Content Creator for the day-to-day to brainstorm and create content for the Latino pages (Facebook and Instagram) for now. This position is the liaison between the community and the brand.


Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field; 2-4 years’ social media experience
  • Must provide samples of past social media work for review and approval for best practices and proficiency
  • Experience in developing content for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter required
  • Experience with analytics tools
  • Experience with Sprinklr a plus
  • Experience with contests, polls, special promotions and social media a plus
  • Published writing examples and awards

Language Skills: 

Ability to read, analyze, develop and interpret marketing material. Ability to effectively present information to management, co-workers and clients.  Ability to fluently read, write and speak English; must be fluent in Spanish (spoken and written).


Applications Required:

Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as Advantage, SharePoint, METS, and Halogen; must be proficient in Adobe programs, specifically Premiere, After Effects, C4D a plus; knowledge of video formatting for multiple platforms; multi-media background is a must


Reasoning Ability: 

Ability to define marketing needs, develop ideas, collect data, establish facts, plan meetings and meet deadlines


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the ‘dupla/partner’ to the Content Creator who concepts and develops day-to-day content for the Latino social media channels
  • Become an expert in the client’s business, services, competitive and marketing needs
  • Build relationships within the brand’s social media community and create value for them
  • Manage the day-to-day, hands-on community management, i.e. replying to questions and concerns, liking positive feedback and/or replying to it, writing and scheduling posts, etc.)
  • Track and analyze the performance of social media posts and channels and make recommendations accordingly
  • Attend a variety of events (both during and after traditional work hours) to capture and/or create social media content
  • Monitor the campaign’s performance and listen to the community in social media to help provide strategic and creative direction; helping to positively influence the work
  • Keep an evergreen document of social media best practices and always-changing specs
  • Prepare (pull and analyze data) monthly reports to provide a deep understanding of what worked, what didn’t, share learnings, and offer recommendations
  • Prepare a snapshot weekly performance report to be shared every Monday

  • Complete expense reports no longer than 30 days after expense incurred
  • Assist with any and all projects/assignments as requested
  • Adhere to all company policies
  • Expected to hit the ground running
