    Position Information: 

    Position Name:  Communications Coordinator

    Location:  Dallas, TX

    Experience:  1+ years related experience in advertising or marketing


    Successful candidate will have: 

    1. PR intern experience, including social media writing experience

    2. PR account experience preferred

    3. Excellent communication and local market/national news media relations skills

    4. Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously and work in fast-paced environment


    Job Summary:

    The primary responsibilities of the Communications Coordinator are the support and execution of brand communications and public relations programs for Moroch PR clients. This person will implement PR duties on a granular level and provide support to the Moroch PR and larger integrated marketing teams.


    Education &/or Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree; PR intern experience, including local market and/or national news media relations, blogger/influencer outreach, and social media writing experience desired; excellent written and verbal communication skills and mastery of AP style; candidates with consumer PR account experience and experience working collaboratively with third parties on behalf of a client, preferred


    Language Skills: 

    Must possess the ability to support team, especially in a group dynamics setting; must be able to gather information and provide a cogent point of view; must be able to process information from multiple sources and communicate the information in a concise manner

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Execute and support campaigns and projects for PR accounts
    • Coordinate and execute day-to-day PR campaign and project responsibilities, handling a high volume of detailed work and providing excellent client service
    • Engage in social media execution, keeping informed on trends and best practices in the social media realm to share with clients and team members
    • Research, develop, write and potentially pitch story ideas/news to local, regional and national news media to promote Moroch PR clients
    • Build and maintain news media relationships
    • Develop a variety of written communications materials, using a mastery of business and AP style
    • Develop and maintain relationships, while supporting collaborations with key influencers and influential organizations (community, civic, etc.) affecting the clients’ business
    • Stay informed of advertising/marketing/PR industry news and best practices, as well as clients’ industry dynamics
    • Stay abreast of client happenings, potential pitfalls and opportunities through reading industry, business, political and community publications on a continual basis and look for opportunities and concerns for the agency and clients
    • Assist with presentations to clients, colleagues and outside organizations, as needed
    • Assist in the research, coordination and execution of business pitches and development
    • Execute general administrative duties of day-to-day client PR projects
    • Process account specific billing and assist in maintaining budgets
    • Support project management of PR-specific creative production, media and research
    • Participate in professional development and training opportunities

    General Duties:

    • Participate in team activities with a positive and supportive demeanor
    • Demonstrate and organize proactive, professional approach to the business
    • Provide continual feedback on self, team and client business including updates and input on projects and progress to the Director of Brand Communications and the Senior Communications Specialist
    • Foster a positive attitude among fellow agency associates
    • Return all voice mail messages and phone calls within 24 hours
    • Support all projects so they’re on-time and on-budget
    • Complete expense reports within 30 days of expense being incurred
    • Adhere to all company policies
    • Assist with any and all projects/assignments as requested
    • Actively participate in weekly PR calibration meetings
