  • Overview

    The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Media Investor include working directly with media investors on TV, radio, and cable invoices/discreps for all assigned markets and clients. as prescribed by media director. This is an entry level media position at an advertising agency.

    Qualifications

    Education &/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (expected May 2018 graduation date acceptable), or 2+ years’ related experience &/or training preferably working in an advertising/marketing agency; or equivalent combination of education & experience

     

    Software Experience: Microsoft Office

    Responsibilities

    • Pull UM/NR reports for all clients for their markets and provide to Broadcast Investor via email, resolve not received invoices
    • Resolve television, cable, and radio discreps which includes verifying traffic along with meeting deadlines
    • Negotiating and inputting of makegoods, under delivery weight and/or bonus weight, if needed
    • Collect and compile added value quarterly
    • Compile PBA’s on monthly basis for all markets assigned
    • Maintain all Nielsen and Nielsen audio downloads, download Nielsen overnights and call letter updates
    • Assist media accounting when necessary
    • Front desk back up based on appropriate schedule
    • Agency training opportunities: train with Media Investors and Supervisors to learn buying responsibilities and assist supervisors with various departmental projects
    • Foster a positive attitude among fellow agency associates
    • Attend weekly staff meeting, contribute to the communication & sharing with Media Team
    • Manages all projects on time and on budget
    • Completes expense reports no longer than 30 days after expense incurred
    • Adheres to all company policies
    • Assists with other agency projects, as requested
